Harvey Flood Cleanup

This is another flood damaged Houston home that our crew has worked to clean up while they have been out of town for the last few weeks.  When the loss was first reported, the 1800 square foot home had 4 inches of standing water throughout.  Eventually, the water wicked up the walls 2-4 feet high.  

The homeowner did have flood insurance and our crew discussed the damage with the adjuster prior to beginning work. The adjuster instructed us to remove 4 feet of drywall.  Drying equipment was set and the home was dry in three days but the home was in a more rural area that didn't provide debris pick up.  The adjuster approved for a dumpster to be set and we had to wait a few days for it to be delivered.  The crew then returned to clean up all the debris.
